Bruce had like a 16? hour drive from Texas and came up a few years. With that though comes having that much more time for the journey.
I just marked off another item from my prep list. I will hopefully be transitioning to new work in my field around that time but I will make it for just a day if at all possible. Looking forward to it!

My car has been at Milzy's for 7 months now and hasn't even made it into the shop for reassembly yet. Hopefully he gets us both done before the show!


I'm in Jacksonville and I'm planning to be there.

It varies every year HEC, Last year was 5, year before around 18 people i believe? Come out! Ill be there with my 6 speed swap, and so should the other two 6 speed swapped aleros, bring all the manual swap N-bodies!

But there is also the Homecoming show that has hundreds of cars and participants in addition to our little meetup.

Our biggest year was 2009 when we had 29 Aleros show up, at least when it was the "ASS" shows. the last ASS show was in 2013, that's why only 5 cars came last year.

Yeah cause others didnt care to go, me, andy, papa, parker and ion went last year! We had a nice weekend.

It's a weekend I look forward to every year since the first time I went. Babyblue has changed ALOT!! Since the first one I went too. Went from complete stock one year to six speed-3.5 swap the next year and this year I got the whole exhaust done. It's gunna be a good meet even if we only have a few people. Last year I had a awesome time. Sleepy and I got a chicks number at a bk haha. I helped papa out with breaks. Saw some amazing 442s at homecoming. I would highly reccomend coming!!

I've stayed clear of telephone poles for a couple years now, we'll see if I can keep it up! ass 12 was great, I was young and stupid for those who remember but still, good times. I hope this year to make it without any brake failure or tires ready to pop, or my rack and pinion having inches of play... had the alero long enough to start getting everything up to a more road worthy state now. Always nice to talk to other people who respect the car to and so on.

2010 was a fun year. I remember the "tire shrapnel" and "section of highway removed" incidents on the trip up there. Also, remember the "one nut" incident.

Of course, can't forget the Go Kart shenanigans of spinning everyone out.

^They were after me to get spun out in 09. Then again I took the good looking cart if I remember correctly. We made some good aleromod 'how to' videos when fisdad was doing his brakes in the parking lot, good stuff on there. lol
I still plan to make it this year as of yet, probably not going to have it fixed up nearly as nice as I had hoped but it went in much worse shape last year.
