me too, my car couldn't pass even the most lenient testing right now..

03glgold 03-06-2013 04:13 PM

I follow that motion...I am not sure between my parents and my vehicles if any of them would pass much testing at all, the newer vehicles could pass a lenient version, but they are all running original o2 sensors that are wearing down, the burban with the lowest currently at 132k (already got around 15k since the purchase in october), my alero at 158,6xx, and my dads 02 chevy with 166k, not only that but all have original cats, as for the 97' it is also all original emissions stuff and the fact that it used to get around 20mpg, temporarily threw a oxygen sensor code and since then gets about 12mpg, it has issues, and my truck doesn't have anything past the catalytic converter and all the honeycomb blew out of that

No pics, But I got the stock rims I ordered(chrome finish, 16 inch). I got the toyo prxes 4 on my car. Also put the reverse halo gauges on my car. More to come. I will reveal what my alero looks like at ASS.

I wish we didn't have the testing up here... but at this point who cares... she passed the second test and is on the road now... don't need to worry for 2 years...
on a "lighter" note... got these installed today :)

Dude what the heck did you do? Did you put LED strips on or inside your headlights?

Nas Escobar 03-11-2013 12:03 AM

They look to be on the outside.

sleepyalero 03-11-2013 12:31 AM

they are on the inside and yes they are led strips.

tw0123 03-11-2013 01:32 PM

I got the same led strip rolls that nas used and put them inside the lens on the lower edge of the chrome bezel... ran the power lines out the corner by the turn signal then power up to the fuse block and grounded out at the battery :)

How much did they quote you on the repairs?

I just called a mechanics shop today and scheduled an appointment to my new tires put on....they're gonna check out what's causing my baby to have some major wheel hop under heavy acceleration and they will check why my tranny likes to shift weird. Hopefully all the bugs are taken care of cause i can't stand not being able to drive Robin like i want to ;) Gotta wake up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to go switch my wheels over at my buddies...drop her off and wait.

Babyblue 03-11-2013 08:01 PM

$650 to take out the rot rust and make it look new. I haven't been whipping my ho like I want. But the time will come soon enough.

^Leds in the headlights look good up there. I did something similar with leds on my old headlights. I want to wrap the whole headlight and for lights when I get the new one
