Not what i did but what i have to do now....it never ends....get into my car today, start it, headunit flips up...screen doesn't work. Had this Pioneer HU for about 5 years now. So i will be ordering a kenwood HU within the week. No more screens for me....just getting a regular style one....double din though. This one seems pretty sweet....can run my phone through it.

Also, need a new front right hub assembly....one that i just bought not too long ago... SFK brand. It never ends :/

Did a little cleaning in the engine bay. Going to do some more when it gets warmer out. This weather sucks!

I don't mean to brag, but its been in the upper 70's and sunny here the past few days and we're looking at highs in the lower 80's for tomorrow and Thursday.

03glgold 04-16-2013 02:59 PM

must be nice...i have a cold and every time it is almost gone there is a rapid temperature swing that brings it back completely...yesterday was short sleeve temperature and right now it is almost winter coat temps

That01Olds 04-17-2013 01:55 AM

Yeah the only thing that sucks is the pollen is out in full swing. I washed my car Sunday and then came out Monday to see it covered in the crap. Needless to say I don't like pollen. Anyway get to feeling better man and summer will be here before you know it.

kwhauck 04-17-2013 07:57 AM

drove past it, its almost melted out of the big snow drift......

I guess my dad got me a early B-day present :D

12" Powerslot slotted Impala rotors. I decided to say screw the rear big upgrade and just get regular GA slotted rotors to match these since upgrading the rears doesn't make THAT much of a difference. Surprising on how heavy these things are.

My finger doesn't show how wide and big these things are, excuse my small finger, I'm a struddle

sleepyalero 04-19-2013 10:15 PM

alero, ;)

not grand am.

im jk...

still need baer front brake upgrade.

TDavis 04-20-2013 09:57 AM

If i had a garage, didn't daily it, and didn't have to take off my 18s during the winter I would. Still spent a quarter of the price of the Baers on these and still getting a nice upgrade so go shove your baers up your non daily driving ass ;D

BTW random thought, if I was you I would of painted the center "hub" on your rotor black or something, that brown/copper color sticks out in an odd way. Knowing your color coordinating ass I'd thought you would of done that.

The rotor hats are anodized aluminum for weight savings. Paint won't hold up very well.
They were originally black, but after several track days with heating/cooling cycles, they changed to more of a purple/brown.
They've been exercised in the way they were intended to; no poseurs here.

sleepyalero 04-20-2013 09:02 PM

I like my v6. Wouldn't trade it for one of the four cyl.

Anyway, I changed my throttle position sensor, and upstream o2, threw the codes 2 days ago, now she's in full operating order again. :)
