Revealed my passenger tail light housing. I've been getting moisture inside. Hopefully this solves my problem?

Papa Rad17 05-18-2013 10:38 PM

I have a good set of pass tails on the parts alero. Can bring to ass if you want...

"Revealed my passenger tail light housing."

"Can bring to ass if you want..."

Am I hearing car porno?

sleepyalero 05-19-2013 12:57 AM

haha fisdad is drunk. ;)

papa, he would need to repaint it.

MiLo 05-19-2013 12:20 PM

I figured it was about time to clean the interior of the car. So I got the Rug Dr for the carpets and seats, scotch guard, detail the nooks & cranny's and top everything off with the armor all spit shine.. I bought some new mats earlier this year on sale and was waiting for this very moment to throw the old crusty mats away. Febreze spray and air vents works wonders. This may be the cleanest my Alero has ever been. Just in time for the free hand car wash I won in a raffle at work set for Monday morning...

xXManwhoreXx 05-19-2013 08:24 PM

Cleaned it out on the inside added aux support for my head unit and going to get it washed

Edit: washed

Drove it a few hundred miles, then it started backfiring under moderate acceleration..then all the electronics started freaking out, gauges would shut off at random times...lights, blinkers would stop...and windshield wipers would slow down.. I hate my car...

So any ideas?

sleepyalero 05-19-2013 11:02 PM

when my gauge cluster/headlights/turn signals messed up it was a bad wiper/turn signal switch

tw0123 05-20-2013 12:37 AM

when I had this happen with mine, it was a bad alternator... could be a bad ground or a spliced wire causing the issues as well...

Nas Escobar 05-20-2013 02:49 AM

I would say clean your battery terminals, then check your wiring... lastly test your alternator and battery. The problem lies within.

I'll check my alternator but its probably wiring somewhere, because it was acting fine until it got rainy and humid..

Terminals and battery are brand new...hoping its an alternator but I'm doubtful..

Hottt damn

sleepyalero 05-20-2013 02:35 PM

well, yes its a new muffler and tip setup. still got the pacesetter piping to the muffler. originally i wanted a full stainless but with ass coming up and them wanting 400+ roughly i couldnt fit it in. i wanted her louder, so he hacked off my pacesetter muffler and tips... put a new flowmaster under her with 3.5 inch tips. she is alot louder then with the pacesetter muffler. all in all i paid 160$ and i do not regret it. though, i will miss my pacesetter muffler.
