Already got money put away, so it's a sure thing. Won't have the Alero, but I would like to come meet people. I might make it a fun trip and take the bike. :lol:

I took Adam to an Oldsmobile car show already and looking at an air cleaner on a 66 Torando, I qutoe him:

"That's an O That's a L that's a D That's a S.." and so on but didn't spell out "Torando" probably because it's script lettering.

I moved to a Public grade school and was so far behind it wasn't even funny.

In my Catholic school we were way far ahead of anyone else. I learned what was going on my entire Freshman year of high school already. Likewise at my Catholic high school I learned everything that was in the curriculum of my Freshman year of college already.

I already paid registration but is totaling your alero a legit reason not to go?... though money will be tight with me trying to get a new car my friend and I are going to try and make it in his alero if we can get it fixed up in time.

Rent a car, borrow a car, if you have 2 cars, bring the other car. If you don't bring an Alero, you just cannot show it, but we all are car guys, so it will get some interest.

When my ex wife and I were still together, she drove her Nissan Altmia with Adam in the back, and I drove the Alero. The Altima got some attention from the ASS goers, but maybe some negitive attention from the Michigan people in the area (being a Japanese car and all)

:badidea: you couldn't force me to buy one if you held a gun to my head...this is one of the biggest lemon cars I have ever seen. Keep in mind that the car you are looking at is from the time period when dodge was known for their consistently failing powertrains and any of them that I have know of have fit very well into the mold. If it is what you like go for it but I still say that a 5 speed alero is a much better car for less money.

He is to young to rent a car you need to be 21 to rent a car even then u will pay a fee if you are under 25. Except for employees that are under 25. Also renting from the airport will be more money than renting from the same company off of airport property because u have to pay airport taxes when renting a car from an airport. Jut fyi if anybody ever needs to rent a car.

I'v never had a complaint with the dodge vehicals my family has owned. the lower end status I wont even look at, the rt model has a lot more going for it. still, I'v only riden in them before, never drove so I have no idea if thats really want or not. as for an alero, I decided I dont want another n-body.

I was trying to be defensive by not hitting him when he moved into my lane, when I decided the ditch was better then oncoming traffic, when I made the pole hit on my side the car and not my friends. the past winter I spent hours on the ice learning how my car handled, that came in handy when the silver accord was looming in my windshield with my car skidding sideways across the road. yes, i done effed up and I'm perfectly happy to take crap for that and for looking at another car different then what everyone else likes. My friend and I are lucky to be alive, I'm just glad that no other people were hurt due my stupidity but I did everything in my power at the time try and the save the car as well anyone put in harms way.

Let him get the car he want not a car that most people on here want him to get like he said he does not want another n body. Saying that he crashed his alero on purpose come on man. He could have been seriously injured. The R/T models are not that bad at all. My buddy has the Dodge avenger R/T mzodel and it is fast as hell 283 HP and awd. The alero is a nice car but there a better and ne'er cars out there other than an n body. My alero is probably going to be my last n body also.

If it was a newer avenger I would take it...dodge has stepped up quality quite a bit since the bailout, it is the older ones that I have an issue with...I was saying that a 5-speed alero was a better option IMO than a stratus, however there are still cars that are better than the alero i would agree.

Well the newer avenger was the Stratus's replacedment. But the rt is no bad 1.7l v6 with 200 HP. But I would never by a Dodge unless it was a cummins pickup or a Jeep. Cherokee. Srt8.

correct. the 2001 status r/t comes with a turbo 2.4, Im looking into it or one of the newer with a 3.0 v6. Im also looking at other cars to, I need to actual drive them before I could attempt getting anything. the status has always just kinda caught my eye as a nice car. I really dont want to go import... I also tried looking for a G5 but cant find any.
