03gxeco 08-11-2013 05:34 PM

and water pump replaced today. :) too bad my intake gaskets are next...

sleepyalero 08-11-2013 06:54 PM

Oil change.

Revhappy 08-13-2013 08:24 PM

Synthetic Oil change with Lucas Oil Stabilizer to get rid of valve chatter (Due to oil starvation...stupid oil pressure switch). The lucas additive dampened most of the chattering noise

Painted my caliper brackets/perches silver as all 4 were rusty looking

Flushed the hell out of my brake system. Pedal feels amazing now as if I have brand new 4 corner brakes on my car. Rear calipers seem to engage quicker and harder than before. Probably the combination valve working like it should haha.

Cleaned the back side of my rims as well as the front and used a spray wax to prevent brake dust from collecting.

Doing some small things getting ready for another track run tomorrow, and this time... Fisdads running with. :)

Come on 14's!

Going to try launching a little different out of the hole and shift at a few different rpms each pass. Ill try 5200-5500 first run see what happens, last time i was shifting at 5800 or so.

S8track16 08-13-2013 09:25 PM

Relocated my amps and second battery to the spare tire area. Managed to fit as HC800 Kinetik, JL 4 channel amp, fosgate p1000 and all the wiring all in that space. Now I have great sound with a lot more trunk space.

xXManwhoreXx 08-14-2013 08:33 AM

Wouldbt the amp get pretty hot in there with no air moving around

S8track16 08-14-2013 05:01 PM

Idk, i guess i'll find out. The amps are directly underneath the cover so it shouldn't be too bad.

MiLo 08-15-2013 09:10 PM

hand wash, hand dry, hand wax and a really good interior detail minus carpet cleaning.. too bad i started too late in the day, i really need them cleaned.

03Sleepr 08-16-2013 09:55 AM

Drove through about a foot of water..thank God it survived..
Then later I rolled over this..

I was amused lol..

fisdad 08-16-2013 11:07 PM

lol. I do that crap too! You're really driving up those miles! Have you had any engine or trans work done?

Babyblue 08-17-2013 11:08 AM

Yesterday, I replaced a broken drive axle and the seal where the drive shaft enters the trans.

sleepyalero 08-17-2013 02:58 PM

Working on putting mesh in center of bumper. Painted black.

Removed wash tank

Look at all the room for the intake!

Replaced map sensor too.

Yea I drive a lot...usually a minimum 1k miles a week...if you mean mods then I have a few, about the same as sleepy minus the 6 speed..the engine and trans are out of my 03 so they only have 130k-ish on them.

Alot of people actually have put mesh in there front bumper holes, it looks better, but with it being black you cant even tell its there.

tw0123 08-17-2013 10:54 PM

I'm not saying it doesn't look good. I think it makes the car look more aggressive, and it gives it a bit of a fast look. I have no problem with that... I asked "is that the home depot special?" because I know a lot of people buy fencing stuff and make it look like it was meant to be a mesh grille. Perhaps the better way to ask was "Where did you get it?"... idk.
