I've had no problems with mine.

While I don't have an Iphone, I have an ipod...it has had bouts of freezing which is a bigger pain to get shut off then an android...also my cousin has went through four of them with them shattering even when they were in the big protective cases...I know many other people who have had troubles with them

Don't wanna get too off topic but i find it funny how EVERYONE goes to iphone.....they really aren't the BEST....it's just the brand people like. I've had my DroidX for about 3 years now with no issues other than the occasional freezing. When i got it i bought an extended battery ASAP because the one it comes with sucks. My bro in law has an iphone and always says "its the best man....droid sucks". So in spite of all the iphone lovers my next phone will be a droid :P

Don't ever get an iphone, I had to switch lines with sprint, so I got a free iphone 4 to see what the hype was about and I hate everything about it. within a week I plan on reactivating my Galaxy s3 if this weather will allow me to get into the city..

there is honestly nothing I like about apple products. I'll take a stock android over a jailbroken iphone anyday, and a rooted android is light years better.

I'm not roostery about my phone like most, but I do joke around at times saying its the best. The iPhone 5 is pretty sweet though, little taller, thinner. And way faster with Verizon's 4G LTE

The Iphone 4 or 4s sucks but the Iphone 5 is almost pointless...they hardly did anything to it...If I had to get an Iphone it would be a 4 or 4s...on the other hand I would take a Iphone over windows phone or blackberry

The iPhone 5 is faster, better chip, thinner, bigger screen, lighter and with the new charger. It's a pretty good upgrade from the 4 or 4s, i would take the 5 over the 4.

I like the new chargers, it actually locks into the phone unlike the 4/4s chargers where there is times it doesn't want to stay in under certain circumstances. I've got the ipad mini and it has the new charger and it is reversible as in, you don't have to worry about putting it in one way, you plug it in and it doesn't matter, plus it literally locks into the charge port very nicely. Takes a little bit of force just to remove it, and I like that part about it. Plus being in almost dark I don't have to worry about which way the charger goes in, I just plug in and I'm set.

the charger being reversible is cool...it almost makes up for the fact that now everyone has to replace all their cables...I don't know about it being harder to remove, I have heard plenty about previous generation Idevices having the charge port go bad in an unreasonable time frame depending on what caused this it could make it better or it could make it worse...I also hope that they have fixed the headphone issue with headphone ports going bad because particularly with the Ipods the headphone port is kinda a important thing

Most people that hate the iPhone hate Apple products in general. At least that's my case. I personally dislike Apple products. I find them cumbersome, annoying to use, and plain. I've had 3 android phones and the best one I've had is the MyTouch 4G Slide. I've had it for a year and a month now, and I wouldn't think about trading or switching phones. I also have a Motorola Milestone (OG Droid on SIM CARD) laying around and it's decent too when rooted.

I've messed around with iPhones and iTouches, and while it is decent for the AVERAGE American, it is mostly a visual toy. I hate the fact that you NEED iTunes to sync with everything, you can't really customize it, you're stuck with literally ONE phone model, and it's becoming an a-hole - everyone has one, it freezes often, it runs apps you're no longer using in the background instead of closing them, and the only real way of closing them is by holding the weird button at the bottom of the screen to get the "task manager" and get it to close. You can't turn off data, you can't turn off GPS, you're practically being tracked by the cell phone company down to your coordinates (n/w/s/e). I'm sorry but the Android may be crap for battery life but at least I can control about 90% of the phone. iPhones won't let me do that. Although I do admit, the music player looks really nice.


Ask me that again when I have $300 saved up. LOL

I spent 6-700 last year I can't remember to be exact but I stayed across the street which was a little cheaper and I got 30 mpg on the way there and 25 mpg on the way back (damn car can't make up its mind, I drove harder on the way there)

I hope I can pull 25 mpg lol..I've already looked and got a rate around $66/night.. I'd like to find something cheaper but it has to be pet friendly because I plan on bringing my dogs..

This sleepy.... Even if you turn off "satellite", you're still tracked by your signal. iPhones are more fed friendly that it isn't even funny. I find it hilarious how many people talk about "Selling dope" on their iPhone. That's the quickest way to get caught up. I know nowadays you can turn off data, among other stuff since Apple competes with Android,but the main concern with apple is security.


I think $300 would be good. You have some for hotel, some for food, and some for emergency.

I think the biggest factor to budget in will be gasoline. IDK how much it is on average in Michigan, but if the east coast is any indicator, we may be facing $4.30 for gas this year. I'm really scared to see that.

I said what I paid last year and I live around 100 miles north of him...The whole gas thing is bullshit after the claims that it wouldn't get as high this year as last year...I am tired of the average person who is doing what they can to get by getting bent over every time they go to the pump so that the gas moguls can eat steak and shrimp every night in their giant luxurious mansions, and still have plenty extra money left to spare...to think all that money they make and they are STILL subsidized

Yea, but lowering fuel prices doesn't fit into their agendas as well as stripping God given rights from citizens. I doubt prices will ever go down below $3 again, oil companies are far to greedy, and the govt doesn't listen to the people anymore.

if the oil moguls are going to be as greedy as they are they could at least help the countries financial problems some...J.P. Morgan who is infamous for his greed used personal money to help solve worsening financial problems back around 1907...if only his predecessors could pay do the same...if our economy crashes it will likely bring down the world economy and then all there money won't matter for shit...What people are failing to realize is that sure it is ok to work hard and get rich but it only functions to a certain point...in their position they are living on the backs of the middle class and the poor, and when the middle class and the poor can't afford to function then the rich are screwed...The other problem is that everybody thinks they are entitled to something, the world has become way too full of get rich schemes, and people trying to make a buck without doing anything

I pesonally don't get it. Every year, they pin the price of gas to something. Nowadays, they just raise it for no reason. We're not even in March and gas is already 4.40 in some areas of DC. I mean really? Who's gonna pump there when Virginia or Maryland is 15 miles or so away and gas is 3.80 near the border of DC?
