they are super easy to install, you dont have to take the needles off, just slide the center hole over them.
I took apart my cluster and put tape on the backside of the overlays, went out to my car plugged in the open cluster left it on the steering column. slid a piece into place and turned on the car so I could line up the lights to the cut-outs, once it was perfectly alligned, i pressed it down to stick. You just have to turn the key off an on a few times. It makes it very easy to look perfect with the lights on the cluster to line everything up. I also put white paper over the warning light holes so it looks alot cleaner during the day. |
my dont line up that great but if ya dont have any service lights they look great
but easy ass install gonna sand the backs of my needles and make em red soon |

Why would u sand the needle??? |
heard thats what ya gotta do for em to still light up red
|

To take off the white paint on the back of the needle so it can be painted red, it's more visible/looks better in the daylight and still let light through at night. |
Yea that's who told me how to do it ha ha
|
Or... u just mount leds under it. White during the day, glowing red at night.
|
still dont look good in day
|
I didnt remove the needles. I slide mine on with the needles mounted.
|
yea so did i and i took em off today and sanded em and hit it with red paint marker and cant see shit through em at night

Did you only paint the back of the needle or the whole thing?? |
