does anyone know how to do a burnout

Pimpalero03 08-02-2006 10:24 PM

drive to like 50 mph and throw ur car in reverse

_01Alero_ 08-02-2006 10:27 PM

^^^ Lol

MixtapeMessiah 08-02-2006 10:41 PM

lmao this guy

SweetNLow 08-03-2006 02:58 AM

lol

rev it up till you hit the rev limiter and then drop it in neutral

AlbinoMonkeyRat 08-03-2006 03:06 AM

find a wall to hold your car still, drive up to it carefully and slowly press your bumper to the wall....then punch the gas.

FrankTheTank 08-03-2006 09:17 AM

make sure you start with the car in 3rd gear so you dont hurt your tranny.

NjRef511 08-03-2006 09:34 AM

You need a friend to do this. The wall method doesn't work as well. tell the friend to place both hands firmly on each side of the olds emblem on the front of the car. Then, hit the "ets off" button by your shifter. Then, place car in neutral, till you hit the rev limiter, when you reach rev limiter, quickly throw the car in D. Instant burnout :)

ptrudel 08-03-2006 09:55 AM

hahahaha omfg this is too funny

Trickyslick 08-03-2006 10:42 AM

you guys are too damn funny...

jabartram 08-03-2006 10:46 AM

If you do it AT THE TRACK they have a wet down area for burnouts.

burg03 08-03-2006 12:12 PM

lmao what is this crap you guys are saying?

doubleN0alero 08-03-2006 12:14 PM

hahaha its not serious burg...its the idea of a joke...you could also run a chain from the back of your car to a cement pole and attempt to pull the pole out of the ground

You left out a major part, make absoloutly sure to tie the chain around the rear axle

jackal2000 08-03-2006 12:34 PM

i like how bartram has the only serious response

speaking from experience, nothing on a car will hold long enough to do a burnout

TwistedDreams 08-03-2006 12:37 PM

omg this is the funniest thing I have read on this site...

Redog 08-03-2006 12:39 PM

Roll the rear tires over something (high curb or speed bump) set e-brake, put car in "1", slowly push the gas

thats b/c none of us will justify this question with a serious response...Jab is true, the only place to do this is at the track

Redog 08-03-2006 12:43 PM

Maybe, but if he tries one of these half assed ideas, it could be a lot worse, esp the one where two friends hold the car back from the front

doubleN0alero 08-03-2006 12:45 PM

haha...oh wait, what about putting bleach on the ground under the tires for extra smoke...LOL

Bleach? Paint thinner works MUCH better.

Trickyslick 08-03-2006 02:19 PM

Keep coming back to read some of the shit you guys come up with...very entertaining.

NjRef511 08-03-2006 02:22 PM

I just hope the misguided soul who originally asked the question doesn't actuially try some of these things, especially the ones involving a friend...

Trickyslick 08-03-2006 02:25 PM

Just be glad you are not his friend...I dont think you are???

NjRef511 08-03-2006 02:28 PM

Nope. My friends have enough sense to

A) Figure out how to do a burnout
B) Know not to do a burnout outside the track

Satsuriku 08-03-2006 02:50 PM

plus.....i really dont think a stock alero has the ability to do so (well an auto may not but not sure about the manual)

ptrudel 08-03-2006 02:54 PM

sat you suck...mine does burnouts with a burnt out clutch...just yank the ebrake and give'r

NjRef511 08-03-2006 02:55 PM

No, A stock alero can definatly pull a nice burnout. I can't tell you how many times I've chirped tires pulling out of my driveway, or on a wetter day, pulling a full burnout on my street.

Alero2k4 08-03-2006 02:55 PM

Correction to above post: Make sure it's your mom that holds the car back....that's for bringing someone like this into the world...

Alero2k4 08-03-2006 02:56 PM

Haha, my auto does small burnouts with a crappy e-brake...

doubleN0alero 08-03-2006 03:05 PM

this poor n00b is going to go nuts when he comes back to read this...

ptrudel 08-03-2006 03:08 PM

lol...no offence to him but,

ask a stupid question, get stupid answers

NjRef511 08-03-2006 03:56 PM

I like the mother idea, but the father gets off scott free? i think the best results is to have one on each side.
