Those are GM Special Edition Dent Resistant Kit painted to match. Very rare. Jack's right, expect 2 Gs.

Wait a minute. You are talkin about the Cavalier, right????............HA

jackal2000 11-16-2006 07:00 PM

and that doesnt include paint

bnight04 11-16-2006 09:33 PM

Its a nice kit though.

OK i've heard about this kit before, what makes it a $2000 kit? Is it made of gold or what?

CiscoPath 11-16-2006 09:53 PM

Only thing I dislike about the kit is how the bumpers and skirts go down, and then comes to a point. Also that irritating line at the top of the front and rear bumpers (worst than the Kato dent). Loox like they took the top of an Alero bumper and molded a kit to it (which is what they did but it shouldn't look so obvious) The Alero does not have one corner in it's entire body shape, everything is fluid and leads somewhere else. Round out those corners and it would be the kit of choice

If you do some researching of old threads you can find out about the bitter relationship between Aleromod/gagt.com and the company that makes that kit. Over at gagt.com you can't even post linked pics of the kit, people with it have to blur it out. Its a nice kit if you have air ride but it looks too boxy otherwise. What the alero really needs is an inexpensive lip kit, not like the razzi which covers most of the bumper, but an actual lip that goes on the bottom and lowers the look of the front without messing up the lines.

MixtapeMessiah 11-16-2006 11:18 PM

agreed completely ^^^

alerocar01 11-16-2006 11:40 PM

CiscoPath 11-17-2006 12:30 AM

troyertrain 11-17-2006 06:28 AM

silent... after he is done w/ the osv kit...

bnight04 11-17-2006 06:45 AM

^^ haha hasnt that been in production for about 2 years now. lmao

clutch1 11-17-2006 05:28 PM

I was thinkin of trying a bit of fiberglassing, like perhaps a lip on the sides to see how it is and go from there. Not till it warms up next spring though if I even do it. Be assured if it goes through I'll let you people know.

And yea, I agree too that we need a kit like that.

MixtapeMessiah 11-18-2006 03:54 AM

Like anyone is gonna say, U can do anything with enough money.

clutch1 11-18-2006 01:35 PM

And patience and skill and etc. I've heard it's no small task, that's for sure.

I've heard it's the quality of the fiberglass. Something to do with the amount of layers and its lack of warpability

ppgnut 11-18-2006 09:22 PM

go to *********central.com to buy the kit i have the kit yes the quality of the fiberglass is great but just like any aftermarket part it needs to fit right
so allot of work has to be done to make it fit perfect

Menace 11-24-2006 08:36 PM

I have that front bumper on my car!

MixtapeMessiah 11-25-2006 01:38 AM
