anyone know where i can find a cheap in dash dvd player? cash is short around here and im lookin 2 spend 200 to 400 bucks on one

best buy carries a Dual flip out for around 400

i bought the cheapie from walmart the jensen about 4 months ago its still working and has good picture i didnt get the touch screen though didnt want it it is the same price

If you're gonna buy something as crappy as Jensen from Wal Mart, why don't you just get a power inverter and hook up the home system in the car with some bungee cords to hold it in place. You should probably look into using home speakers in the trunk too (and they better be in the big brown home speaker boxes too)

actually, if you want to spend about 100 more they have a dual one at crutchfield.com that's a flip-out... I've pretty much decided on that one... It's pretty much got everything I would need/want in one (aside from gps that is)

i'm going to be making a new setup, so i'd sell this one as is. it's not perfectly smooth everywhere, but it definately worked well for me. my new setup will have a screen that turns on automatically, instead of pushing a button to turn it on and off. the controls for the screen are hidden in my center console right now, but i'm thinking of relocating them to the blank piece where the cupholder used to be.
if there is enough interest, i could start producing these for people. but, you would have to wait until september for me to start building them.

as for the neons, i'll be getting rid of those. i'm trying to get away from the ricy stuff. all about a clean looking car to me.

u do have a nice set up 2fst question though if ur not playing a game or watchin a movie is the screen off or do u just leave it blue???? thats y i like the flip out shows all kids of different crap.
As for the jensen i dont want nav i have a garmin i got for free and dont use it so i dont want to pay 2gs for an indash just wanted something to show off the screen is really good on it nice and clear so say about a g for not buying the pioneer and have the same resolution on the screen is a good deal for 400 bucks

if i don't have anything on the screen, i just don't turn it on.
the stereo functions regularly, but also plays dvd's. so, you have to buy a dvd headunit to go with it. but you can pick one up for pretty cheap.

yeah i knew that so the screen is usually blank
