hey, im a little newer to cars...
 

hi, my names alex and over this past weekend i bought a 2001 alero. before this car i had a truck, 1998 chevy s10, i totaled that so i went on the search for something new, my parents told me i had to get somthing fwd because i put my truck in a ditch while it was snowing. i had a few things done to my truck, i lowered it and i was starting to put a system in it. ill post some pictures up of my new car and my truck before and after the crash.

This is what I drove most of the time before I got my alero... This isn't mine though.. lol It was my bros... It got to the point where I didn't want to drive my old car, and sinse my bro was overseas, I drove his truck for him. lol

here some pictures after the crash. yes, my car is a GL with the v6, after finding out what a 4cyl was like in the s10 i wanted somthing that could get me up a hill with out slowing down. this car is huge upgrade over my little truck, my truck didnt even have a/c. the sunroof is great! i cant wait for summer to roll around so i can open it up and cruise. the frist thing i want to do to it is the exhaust system, i was thinkin magnaflow...what do you guys think?

What's wrong with the s10? It looks like all it needs is a new rear axel and you'd be good??

actually it didnt even need a rear axel, when they total a car or truck sometimes, it really means its going to cost to much to fix. they estimated about 5 grand to fix it, the trucks only worth 4 grand, the insurance copany said they would give the shop 4500 to fix it...there for totaled. the frame was bent too.
