no you don't but you end up missing out on things or even getting lost. Maybe someone might have an extra one you can borrow.

Also they help keep the cell phone bill down

OMG I can't believe it's almost here!!! So Chris are you going to get 2-ways for us to use? Or should I still pick one up? And my chicka Audrey is coming with me on the trip.

cherrington17 06-04-2007 07:44 AM

i'm getting a pair. I figure aud will be with you almost all the time, so she won't need one.

And i scrapped the camcorder idea. The off chance that it gets damaged, then i can't return it.. yeah... i don't have an extra 400, right now.

doubleN0alero 06-05-2007 12:32 AM

17. imodium incase you get sick from the relish sitting out in the sun all day at the homecoming show. make sure you have your own so somebody doesn't hold anything over your head for the next year to follow

p1mptress 06-05-2007 09:26 AM

so should we bring any food for outside? Does anyone want me to bring anything?

jturkey69 06-05-2007 11:09 AM

easy-up tents with some type of lead weight to hang on the bottom to keep the tent in place...I have the put-together style shelter, but it does the trick when the sun comes out..i need to find some kind of small lead weights though for the tent legs

jackal2000 06-07-2007 07:48 PM

i just checked the weather report, so far so good.

Oldsnut 06-07-2007 08:29 PM

Will there be a hose at the Holiday Inn if we need to hose down our Ho's?

No. but there is a car wash down the road.

Mischief007 06-07-2007 08:56 PM

Especially since most of the cars will probably be covered in bugs. Can't wait.

Have we attempted to speak to the Hotel about letting us hook up to their water the first day? I'll bring the hose and nozzle if needed.

actually no i have not and never really crossed my mind due to we all normally got right down the road to wash them

Oldsnut 06-07-2007 11:35 PM

I have a call out to Andres at the Holiday Inn to see if we can hook up to their water on Thursady & Friday to wash cars. We'll see what they say, why pay when you can wash for free. :rolleyes2: I'm a cheap old fart when it comes to some things.

And that's not a bad thing sometimes! I bet you'll have no issues with them accommodating your request, I've even had it offered before. And i know my car needs a good washing too! It was quite dusty when i parked it.

jturkey69 06-08-2007 01:01 AM

lol..bikini car washes:D...good idea though, however you will need a very long hose, like 100 ft

John, this is a family forum you know. I think I can handle it if they give the OK. The 100ft. part I mean.

Oldsnut 06-08-2007 10:45 AM

OK we have a hose and water hookup waiting for us at the Holiday Inn to wash the cars. I will bring the spray nozzle and some suds. Andres at the H.I. was very cool about it.

2.2l Monster 06-08-2007 11:00 AM

So I was all ready to go, I was looking foward to going to ASS this year more than anything. So if I can get it fixed by next week ill be there fure sure still but idk if thats going to happen or not. I hope everyone has fun! It really sucks because I was really looking foward to meeting some of you guys. But I guess theres always next year.

Oldsnut 06-08-2007 11:08 AM
