pawzbear 09-09-2007 01:14 PM

yep same here. but i've got really cold air intake. Like -25 lots of mornings.

adam337 09-09-2007 03:12 PM

youre making payments on a 4-7g car?
and reddog! im telling mrs.reddog!

TheMeaningOfLife 09-09-2007 03:21 PM

Becauseyou have an intake next would be to remove the huge muffler out back. Then save for a set of light weight rims and a good sticky set of tires. After that it can get rather pricey. Im a 2.4 guy so idk much about performance mods on the 3400 but i think that would be a good start for all cars.

tonyboi261 09-09-2007 04:14 PM

for the 3.4 u can get a nice muffler (no fart can tho) and according to your budget you can get it in a month and a half or so..

Yeap, if that even, find some guy selling the flowmaster 80s off his camaro or firebird and have a muffler shop mount it and youll then have duals! make sure to cut or have them cut a part off the bottom of your rear bumper or the duals will be un even.

sillygirl 09-09-2007 05:55 PM

duals as in a moc dual exaust....if thats what you mean ......ill have to fire you lol...and if its not sorry i take back the fireing

pawzbear 09-09-2007 06:02 PM

nah i doubt it... no one on here has 'mock duals' that i know of. I mean, i see dozens of cars a day at our shop and i have never seen it there either.

cherrington17 09-09-2007 07:17 PM

mock duals? i only know of one person on here who got a functional TRUE dual exhaust from headers back...

our cars just don't have enough room for that. we HAVE to do cat back, as far as i know...

QCmustang 09-09-2007 08:25 PM

ummmm im on here and i have true duals?? but then again, i also have a mustang. all i have to say is do the research before you do anything to your car (unless its one of a kind) that way you will be happy with your choices.

sillygirl 09-09-2007 08:43 PM

i really don't like moc exhaust lol....

TheMeaningOfLife 09-09-2007 09:40 PM

No.... ugh. Its not mocked up, the 80s series is set up to have an inlet on one side and then dual outlets on both sides. Such as a firebirds or camaros. I ment dual outlets not accually 2 seperate exhausts.

sillygirl 09-09-2007 10:05 PM

ok now i understand sorry lol

jabartram 09-10-2007 12:40 AM

here is an example of some 80 series (mock-up) duals.

billytheman1188 09-10-2007 12:44 AM

alright, well you should get an exhaust next. I have the 3400 and i bought the pacesetter exhaust. It says it only fits the 2.2 and 2.4s but it WILL fit the 3400. That will give you a little power and help with MPG.

white04alero 09-10-2007 12:33 PM

hey silly girl im from kansas, i live in derby, right out side of wichita

Bought the same exhaust, and I love it. Check out pics in this thread:

Best thing is it should only cost like $279 from Alamomotorsports.com, not including installation.
