Making a new back end.

Well as some of you may know I have been looking for a razzi back end for some time. I got fed up of waiting so I figured I would completely refibreglass my Andys back end to the look I liked. I still Have a ways to go, But You can kind of see what it will look like eventually. here is a pic so far.

cherrington17 04-09-2008 08:54 AM

if this ends up at all like your tail lights did.... heres your preemptive :thumb:

and if your making your own... who said it has to be razzi... make it a "wrightie" bumper.

bigdaddyD 04-09-2008 08:57 AM

how do you plan on fitting your rear bumper for exauhst? from the pics i cant tell if you plan on fitting it for single/dual/center?

cherrington17 04-09-2008 09:00 AM

i'm guessing full fiberglass.. then do a cutout for the exhaust?

wrightie 04-09-2008 09:21 AM

This is the Andys Kit with all the holes filled. I am trying to make it look a little less ricey. The exhaust is where it is stock. It rests just under the bottom of the kit you just cant see it.

Rexter9x 04-09-2008 09:24 AM

Hmmm, your 3rd brake light looks pretty sweet. The kit seems to look better filled too.... do you still have those clear tails?

wrightie 04-09-2008 09:33 AM

yeah I still do the clear tails or these.

Trickyslick 04-09-2008 10:07 AM

Looks good interested in seeing the finished product...keep us posted

YALEROYNOT 04-09-2008 11:20 AM

I like it I would do the same thing with that kit the side vents look to ricey (for me ). did you renforce the big holes ? get some pics from the inside/back side of the bumper ? are you going to add anything to it or just leave it smothe?

tw0123 04-09-2008 11:54 AM

how much do you charge for those alteeza lights? can you paint the interior to match the body colour as well? how long does it take to make them? i dont live too far from you and am very interested in a set... possibly by the summer depending on price...

Cliff8928 04-09-2008 12:53 PM

It already looks better...

Vinalero 04-09-2008 01:18 PM

Ya , it does look better, keep us updated Wrightie

2fst4u 04-09-2008 02:04 PM

what's your price on the tails?

billytheman1188 04-09-2008 02:11 PM

looking good dude! keep up the good work. MAKE SURE to post up pics when your done.

Are you going to work on the front bumper too??? cause i HATE the holes in the front bumper, i wonder what it would look like without them. heh

wrightie 04-09-2008 02:11 PM

300 to mod your existing ones. And depending on the deal I find at the wreckers for old ones 450 to 500 for a full new set.

Good work ... waiting to see the final results! :)

What's up with that 3rd brake light? That's tight. I want it!

2fst4u 04-09-2008 04:07 PM

billy, is that sarcasm about the front holes? go look at my cardomain if you don't know what it looks like.

I think he ment all the extra "vents" in the aas body kit front. like next to the license plate and on the sides.

2fst4u 04-09-2008 09:04 PM

yeah, i did most of those on my mine.

tw0123 04-10-2008 10:36 PM

how long does it take you to redo the existing lights? my car is a daily driver, but if you are redoing my lights, can i use yours until you get mine done?

bizarre179 04-11-2008 02:41 AM

Cant wait to see the finished product. I hate the rear end of the aas kit.

2fst4u - I have looked at your car many times, and never noticed what you did to the front end. It looks a lot cleaner without all the other holes/vents.

You guys... just making things better all the time.

wrightie 04-11-2008 07:55 AM

it takes a few days to fabricate. If you go to some wreckers, you might find some with broken lens. Thats ok because I make a whole new one and you can get broken lights pretty cheap. As far as borrowing my lights HHHEEELLLLL NNNOOO.

cherrington17 04-11-2008 08:22 AM

 borrow your lights... thats hilarious

zoL 04-21-2008 06:01 PM

Looks nice... Can't wait to see it painted.

Trickyslick 04-21-2008 06:03 PM

That is sweet Nice flow and good twist on a common kit. Great Idea.

TheEdgeofSanity 04-21-2008 06:11 PM

very nice...if a smooth kit like this was available, i might actually kit my car.

i hate how the kits have all the holes everywhere all the time.

bizarre179 04-21-2008 06:49 PM

I also like it. Very smooth. Like i said before, i hate the aas rear end. It doesnt look right, but yours works. Good work.

cherrington17 04-21-2008 08:21 PM

damn. that was quick! why don't we have you making the OSV molds!?

AlbinoMonkeyRat 04-21-2008 09:32 PM

in reference to the front AAS bumper: that crease in the bumper still bothers the hell out of me. that's the only thing keeping me from buying one of those kits (aside from the lack of knowledge in firberglassing)

Wrightie, that rear is hawt. lol Wrightie's ho has a hot ass.

YALEROYNOT 04-21-2008 10:55 PM

looks great  :scpimp:

Also Wrightie what rims do you have and whered you get them?

wrightie 04-22-2008 08:46 AM

I never really noticed the crease in the front. That might be one of my next projects.:p Gonna paint some time today.:yahoo:

cherrington17 04-22-2008 09:21 AM
