^agreed.. Intake is probably the easiest and cheapest place to start(depending on set-up), second to exhaust
um. if you plan to get a kit. that one in particular. goto www.andysautosport.com and get the kit from ANDYS not extreme dimensions and shit. its cheaper and actually real wont come all broken. there's also the razzi kit and aids kit.
Quote:
I was looking for the razzi kit! thanks! |
and I hope you aren't spending $200 on an AEM inake when you can get the same thing for $40 on eBay
Quote:
no that was just the example! i want an aem just not from that site... |
an AEM intake is going to be about that price anywhere you go; if you like paying for a $150 sticker, get it
ebay for intake :yahoo:
ANDY'S for the kit :yahoo: :D different wheels  HELL NO GRAFIX   :badidea: exhaust and intake first FTW :yahoo: :thumb: |
you should get that thing breathing better...meaning intake and exhaust...improve mileage and performance
OK let's break this down better for ya.
Intake and exhaust first, get it breathing better first, try to get a Flowmaster 60. Doesn't sound too ricy on the 4 banger At least 17 inch wheels, but shop around. Polished OK but no chrome. Chrome is very heavy and you'll need more mods to keep the speed up, if that's the route you're going. Then after the 17 inch wheels, you can look at a big brake kit. Those kits require a 17 inch or larger wheel to fit behind. Also check out GAGT.com. You can do a Corvette front brake set-up for fairly cheap. Z06 Calipers, 00-05 Impala rotors, and 98-02 F body caliper brackets, probably cost you around $600 to $800 for parts and will look awesome |
Lighting, just get Silverstars and be done. eBay style bulbs are too high in wattage and melt your wiring. Don't bother with any underbody kits or crazy LED's. Not worth it IMO
Those wheels are ugly. Personally I like wheels without the rivits, but to each thier own. I almost bought a different set of Kazeras for my car, but right before I clicked "Add to cart" I saw the rivits  Any wheel with a 5x114.3 or 5x115 bolt pattern with an offset between +38mm and +42mm will fit. +40mm is the stock offset of the stockers ;) |
O yeah I almost forgot, the razzi is more like a ground effects package, it glues onto your stock bodyparts ;)
Putting graphics on a car is a lot like anal sex.
GREAT when done tastefully and in moderation. Some people love it. Some people hate it. And many people will try it once or twice to see how it feels. It's commonly thought of as taboo or gay, and usually attempted by a younger crowd. But bottom line, you won't know until you try it. Just don't let it turn out crappy! but seriously... i was thinking about some sort of graphic on my Subie... but if i did anything it wouldn't be tacky and would be genuine white gold leaf... (it's what i do at work) |
lowering springs first.
The only reason to do the body kit first is if it is the OSV kit...
ok.....show me some better wheels...
Motegi FF7
Motegi MR7 Eagle 077 Eagle 192 Whatever ones SweetNLow has on Enkei RSV Enkei RS6 |
ok ill look those up later!
and you can contact the admins, but i believe if your a vip on this site (costs $15) if you order a bodykit from andy's you get 10% off....
or has that deal w/ them expired?? and for wheels... i personally like these... but have no idea what they are. the actual photos were of a car i walked by at school. |
lol the poor celica has a ding...

lol thanks.... not really noticing anything but my alero...lol
Go to tirerack.com, they have a window that shows different wheels they sell on you're car ;)
Razzi Glues on to stock bumper?
Ya, it's a lip kit. You get it molded onto the stockers. You can see the seams in most of the pictures of Aleros with the Razzi.
i wont get into the way i do a razzi kit, but anyway,,,,,,,,i would do the intake, exhaust system, eff lowering springs, do air ride the best of both worlds
body/paint can run in the thousands, for quality work, just dont paint the interior, or make it look like its coming in for a landing, meaning all the lights, basiclly make it look good and not riced out |
ok.... i was not planning on doing anything but the underglow...
Bigger battery mabye then the stocker?? |
If you get an LED underglow kit you wont need any mods to ypur battery. They last longer look better and take alot less power.
LED's are the way to go..... they last longer too..
