amber bulb # for cleared corners?
 

i've searched but can't find the model # for the silverstars that look clear but light up amber. there are a few model #s, but the posts are kind of ambiguous so i dunno if they're the right #.

are you talking about the one behind the reflector

the bulb you put in after the orange reflector is taken out. this bulb is amber when lit up.

that bulb is a 194 bulb. i wanted the silverstar ones for that too but havnt been able to find them in any stores or online. i have the silverstars for the other amber bulb tho.

huh? idk what that meant. is the 194 a generic code for the size of bulb?

yes it is but silverstar doesn't make 194's

well that would explain why we cant find them ... :eek:

I used Pilot amber chromes... I bought two sets since they were somewhat hard to find at the time.

I used inverted cone led's for mine...they look pretty sweet, and light up well at night.

Ive got the silverstars, and found the pretty easily at O reilys. They can probably help you. I think I got them for 10 the pair.

Amber 194 bulbs, just the basic ones work best.

The other ones I used the paint wears off and makes the bulb white after 6 months, the 194 I have in there now have been in there for a few years, at least 4 and they are still amber ;)

Sorry to bump, but I just thought I'd mention mine are still perfectly chrome after 2 years, and still light up amber. Pilot Amber Chromes ftw. I have a second set for when these burn out.

Mine were $4 for a pair of 194 Pilot amber chrome, those are $30 for a pair of 194. :lol:

where did you find those?

I believe it is the link in his earlier post. That is the one I am going to follow to get mine in any case.

Just followed ion's idea of buying two sets. Shipping just 13 dollars for me so 22 total for two sets.
