Level Zero Motorsports N-body Motor mounts

Level Zero Motorsports recently released their new design of upper motor mounts for the J-body. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium.

Now considering we do not have any after market mounts available for our n-bodys I spoke with the guy. (Although you can custom drill a turbo tech mount to fit, this will be a direct bolt on. He will get working on mine, just wondering if anyone here is interested in one?

They will be $100 plus extra on your preference on the finish. Not sure on shipping yet. Heres their website http://www.levelzeromotorsports.com/store/index.php

Nate's Alero 03-29-2009 12:53 PM

is that for all engines? or just the 2.4

DOHC_tuner 03-29-2009 01:08 PM

Im not sure if it'll work for the LA1...I doubt it but I've never worked on one so I dont know. Hopefully someone can shime in with that info.

Vic28 03-29-2009 02:01 PM

so this one is a direct fit??? I saw it on ecotecforum.com and a guy gave pretty good feedback.

[ion] C2 03-29-2009 02:46 PM

Ooh... I like.

Caboose73 03-29-2009 03:19 PM

Vic28 04-07-2009 08:26 PM

any news???

[ion] C2 04-07-2009 08:41 PM

I'm down for one.

Caboose73 04-07-2009 09:19 PM

Ya id like to have one before my engine is done so i can just throw it in

DOHC_tuner 04-07-2009 09:24 PM

He has yet to respond back....I was going to send him my stock mount but he said he will just get one from the junkyard.

I'll get back with everybody once he responds back to me.

DOHC_tuner 04-07-2009 11:17 PM

I just got back with him and heres the respond

"Hi,

I was looking at the 2.4 mount in a grand am this weekend, I assume they are the same, although I'm not 100% sure.

It's an incredibly complicated mount do to bolting sideways to the frame rail. I'm still trying to think of an elegant design thats still going to be cost effective."

KenshinZero 05-17-2009 02:46 AM

Wouldn't the motor mounts on the 2.2 and 2.4 be the same? its only a guess considering i know nothing about the 2.2

Nate's Alero 05-17-2009 10:04 AM

looks the same on the one for the 3400

Me too :D

kwhauck 05-17-2009 01:57 PM

yes it does look like it will fit the 3400, guess I might have to find out.....

Caboose73 05-21-2009 07:48 PM

Any word on how these are going?

jabartram 05-21-2009 08:03 PM

i looked at gm parts direct and the 2.4 and 3400 have the same passenger side motor mount, it may be the adapter plate [mount to motor plate] thats different. i may purchase one and attempt to modify.

Vic28 06-18-2009 11:25 PM

I sent them an E-Mail on there site. Letting them know there were a few of us intrested in it, but wanted to know if it would fit.

KenshinZero 06-22-2009 12:34 AM

This is what I recived

"Hi, From what I have seen in the N bodies the mount will not fit. If I remember correctly the mount for the Alero bolts to the inside of the frame rail. We are planning to make an Alero mount but at this time I don't know when they will be ready."

It seems they are developing them. but thats all I know.
