|
Excellent job on the interior and on the stereo install! Very clean work!
|
Wow that's some extremely good quality work!!
You did that all yourself, right? I'd love to see build pics, if ya got em. The guy over on fiberglassforums.com would def eat that install up, too, they love to see good quality work like that. I've never seen liquid cooled amps like that... very nice idea. A+ stuff here. |
Very nice....
|
Uhh.... Wow..
I love the tweeters in the pillar.. Are the whole pillars covered in vinyl? |
absolutely love what you did.
DAMN. noob outta nowhere, puts most of us to shame. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: to you! those door speakers... the mounts don't look like you did fiberglass... so what is that black stuff? |
love it
the doors and A pillars are perfect on your website it looks like you mounted the speaker pods to the door and then made a cover that is mounted to the door skin. is this correct? |

i speak and understand english a little bid, you asked about the total price? |

Thanks, all cars i did with my two friends, solara and endeavor with one of them, and alero coupe with second one, this is not only my hand work, but most of work - my ideas |

all interior parts, doors pannel, pillars, speakers cover are made of leader, natural "pig" leather, now i working on new dashboard, head unit will be there now is upper air...something i do not know what is called beside hazzard button, and when now is head unit will be 7in lcd, becouse i purchased new alpine f#1 system with dvd head unit. and... dashboard will be covered by natural leather too, the most problem was to select the same color leather and plastics interior parts. |

black stuff is a black paint :) and it is fiberglass outside, inside is MDF do you know what it is? becouse in PL we called it mdf. Fiberglass is only one part of that sealed boxes, second parts is BRAX (anti noise paste) 50/50 mixed with sand-quartz, sealed boxes weight about 70lbs + speakers, all doors weight right now about 200lbs |
Quote:
Thank you! yes, right, sealed boxes are mounted to the door on a lot of screws, and a cover is mounted to the door pannels via windsheld glue and whole pannel is covered brax's paste |
aah. BRAX paste. thats what that is.
Yes, it is called a hazard switch. And Yes, we do also call it MDF. |
dashboard - new version

Welcome to the site...Best audio install yet! Good Job!
|
can't wait to see that dash completed. Why not opt for a touch screen, instead of relocating the headunit to the vent?
|
Quote:
i do not understand your question... sorry, could you tell me it simplier? |
Nice gear.
The only thing Im not fond of is the corner loaded box. I have never been a fan of that. But I understand how these show vehicles go. |
I'm not feeling the idea to put the head unit where the vent is. I don't know how hot it gets there but you would need that vent here in MD during the summer....lol. Like Cherry said why just go with a touch screen mulitmedia deck instead of relocating the head unit and I guess thats a dvd player below it?
|
you should market those door pods.
|
ohhhh...
two main reason, DVI9990r is one of the best head units and it is connected with processor via wi-fi cable, non of multimedia unit has it. second, it will be only lcd screen, not unit. third, air-vent will be blocked, and i will install one fan behind headunit. edit: i know that the better could be: head unit in the same place where is, and lcd in a vent, but... lcd need more space and dashboard will be bigger like new BMW3, and sun will shinning directly on LCD, becouse it must be in front of the dash, not deep like BMW etc. |
Quote:
your headunit will be mounted in your center vent. 7" touchscreens are available. Why not make your 7" LCD a touchscreen, and use it, as your headunit? Instead of having both, a headunit and a LCD screen. I'm sorry, if I can't word this any easier... What your going to have is 1 headunit and 1 LCD. A touchscreen LCD would combine the two, without having to lose your center vent. ------------------------------------------ EDIT: Answered above. Ok. Sounds like legit reasona to me. haha Quote:
I know alot of members would buy them.... |

:) i would not like to do it again, it takes a lot of time, a lot of... i did one set for one customer in PL, he paid me about $1200-$1300 for sealed boxes and covers and it is very good price in Poland |
Quote:
understandable. I'm finishing mine (and they are tremendously more basic then yours) and I definitely don't want to do this again. |
wow, i figured this was going to be some garbage. turns out it is actually really clean. good job.
|
GOOD JOB! i like the stereo and the speakers..... nice set up!:coolio::thumb:
|
Quote:
You dont do garbage when you have F1 Status. |
Drool
|
ok. I'll bite.
What is F1 status? |
Alpines top of the line. Its outrageously priced.
Lets make this simple. His Alpine F1 status equipment is probably worth more than the car blue books at. Figure in the front speakers and the Brax amps, its way more than the cars value... |

If this is a photo shop pictures, which Im fairly certain it is... I wouldnt go that route. Instead I would chop the baffle apart. Put the controls at the very bottom. Fit the screen and the deck in the available area then. If you do it right, the head unit could go right about where the controls are currently. |
WOW...really like that one amazing job done on it!!

Alpine F#1 Status click here is a top of the line of alpine's head units, it is like .... maybach among mercedes, M-power among BMW or something like that, and it is not offer in normal shops, only for special order, it is in the whole europe. About costs.... few times more then a car is worth |
