Redog 01-02-2010 03:28 PM

How exactly is this car rice? Yeah it sounds like shit, but it can back it up.

BTW the 14.004 turns into 14.50 at Englishtown, Atco is a fast track, that's where I ran my 14.53

Rice burner does not mean that "it kills rice." It means it "burns rice," as in it "runs using rice as fuel" as in derogatory slang for an import car, because, coming from Asia, they have lots of rice (food).

It could be the fastest car in the world, I'd still never be caught dead driving something that looks or sounds like that

Well that would mean you have a 15.03 second alero then lol. Im pretty sure that statement is false because my coworkers runs almost the same times at Atco as Englishtown 10.70s and 10.80s. Its not like Englishtown is on some mountain. I'm pretty sure they would say Englishtown is at sea level. Atco is slightly above but not much.

If you were out to win, you really wouldn't care. And I'm sure you don't have the expertise to drive the fastest car in the world in the first place.

DOHC_tuner 02-04-2010 06:17 PM

Im sad that he's now going boost cause I really would love to see what he could do with the ecotec with his new build.

Hey, whatever floats your boat. Rocket powered tissue boxes ftw!!!!!

BlackJack 02-05-2010 08:28 AM

yeah, 11's are great in a car that weighs 1,000 lbs less than yours spy. I think I'd be hard pressed to shave that much off an alero and there be any car left.

let's see.. we'll go w/ my car weighed 3000lbs.... so all these all motor cars weigh 2000lbs by your reasoning, just like the one in the video.

Considering most of the competitive classes have a minimum weight requirement of 2500lbs, I put your statement into doubt.

So the best idea is to go J-body, or old early to mid 90s n-body, if you want to see if anything can be done all motor.

Then there is another issue, guys in Honda land or getting between 250hp-300hp all motor in their K-motors.

These guys are just a touch more serious about all-motor than anybody in these parts.

Well...I had no idea your car was 600lbs less than mine either. I was basing that 1000lbs off the assumption that our cars weigh closer to the same. So when I said 1000lbs less, I was basing it off my 3600lbs on the scales after the runout at SIR in Tucson AZ.

Either way, 600lbs heavier or not, I'm gunnin for your low ET :)

Nope sorry.

My car's faster at Atco. See my video on Youtube of the 14.69 runs I had back to back. It's never ran that fast at E-town, fastest ever at E-town was a 14.825 and that was when the humidity was at 30% and the pressure was below 29.5 ;)

git 'er done.

I'm just in a parts gathering frenzy these days, until I find an appropriate jbody, or something shiny.
