Eibach Sway Bar Group Buy!
 

Ok, so after talking with Eibach this morning it seems that they are more than willing to make us some sway bars.

Haven't gotten details from them on pricing but they have verified that they can make them for us and are willing to do so. Pricing will likely be around the same cost as other currently available Eibach Sway Bars which is around $110-200 each

Spec's are as follows:

Stock front FE2 - 24mm hollow
Stock front FE3 - 24mm solid
Eibach front - 28.6mm

Stock rear (all) - 15.3mm solid
Eibach rear - 22.2mm solid

We already have the minimum 25 of each bar counted for but if you are still interested in purchasing a set or even just one bar please post up here until the deadline we post next week.

These bars will fit all 97-05 Malibu/Classic, 99-05 Grand Am, 99-04 Alero and 97-00 Cutlass

UPDATE 7/9/10 - Price for the GB is 185+ shipping each. This price includes mid point bushings.

Couple questions...........

1. any ideas on what the cost would be?

2. how does the diameters compare to the Speedbuilt ones?

Sizing will be the same as the ones speedbuilt used to make however material used may be different.

As for pricing we are basically looking at around the same cost as the bars Eibach currently makes. From what I have seen this ranges from about 110-180+ shipping. I wont have more definitive pricing until the stock bars arrive at their private labeling department. They were shipped UPS Ground so basically in about 2-6 business days I will have a definite price for each bar.

Are you advertising this on the GA forum as well? They will have more people who are interested in this.

will this also come w/ new bushing and the bigger brackets for the sway bar??

Since I'm going to probably not be able to find a set of Speedbuilt Sways again; I should probably get in on this. With that said count me in on a set for sure and maybe one more (gotta check on that though.)

I will put you donw for just a front for now and if it turns out you can afford it I will put you down for a rear as well. Reason being is that I can always have more than 25 made of each but I need at least 25 of each for sure.

hey there is a friend of mine that has a 3100 malibu swapped 5 speed... he said that he'll eventually join the aleromod forum... so you can add me plus one too.. for both front and rear

I will put you down for one of each and when your friend joins they can post up for their self so that this doesnt get any crazier than it is with this being posted on 4 different forums.

there will be more available after the group buy however the pricing will be higher later on than what is given to those who purchase the bars during this group buy.

HavE we gotten a definitive price yet?

According to the tracking info for the stock bars going to Eibach they wont have them to be measured until the 6th (I guess because of the holiday). From what I was told by the rep from Eibach it will take just a day of having them to give a final price.

So basically we will have a price set in stone on the 7th if everything goes the way it should.

Hmm well if it's cheap enough I may consider!
