What to bring to ASS '13

People, feel free to add to this list:

Alero
Money
Sunscreen (just ask Scot)
Aleo Vera Gel (in case of sunburn)
Camera
Swimsuit
Car care stuff
Any items you wish to display on your car (stuffed toys, pics, list of mods, etc)
Citronella Candles or "Off" fan thing (they work very well)
Laptop or Netbook, if you have them, not a necessary thing
Tools, as few or many as you wish
Sense of Party

There is a Fridays, Burger King, and McDonalds within walking distance. A Walmart just on the other side of 96, a shopping mall about two miles down, An Auto Zone about 3 miles down and a car wash in Grand Ledge about 5 to 6 miles past 96. (If any of them are still there)

sleepyalero 04-25-2013 07:07 PM

i think you forgot Viagra, and vagasil for the babies. :awesome:

Redog 04-25-2013 07:10 PM

Thanks for looking out, but I don't need it. I might need a babysitter for about 30 minutes or so ;)

sleepyalero 04-25-2013 07:47 PM

hahaha

03glgold 04-25-2013 09:07 PM

Radios for communication

sleepyalero 04-25-2013 09:09 PM

good one, sadly i dont have a walkie, might have to go buy one.

sleepyalero 04-25-2013 09:49 PM

just picked up some walkie talkie's. lol

03glgold 04-25-2013 09:53 PM

I may try to upgrade mine...my 6 mile radius ones were down to less than a mile in the city

sleepyalero 04-25-2013 10:06 PM

these are "16 mile" apparently. oh well 2 for 25$ ill take it.

03glgold 04-25-2013 10:30 PM

I bet they do fine...the rating is the max distance over a clear area...here in nowhere kansas I was able to talk to people a ways off, however the city killed them...I bet the 16 mile ones still reach at least a few miles...bass pro shops had some that I really want...60 mile radius, waterproof, and they float

EDIT: way off of what I remember but still cool

sleepyalero 04-25-2013 10:41 PM

i dont think i would waste 100$ on walkie talkies but thats just me

03glgold 04-25-2013 10:51 PM

I prolly won't get them...I don't use the ones I have enough to justify it, however I would like some with longer range

Oldsnut 04-26-2013 12:27 AM

And last year we got blankies at Homecoming :awesome:

fisdad 04-26-2013 08:45 PM

Yeah I think I have a blankie from homecoming in my trunk?

If you were talking about loaning me a radio sleepy, my work has like 6-8 of them in a drawer that we no longer use, but cell phones are better for me. I will bring along a few radios though.

It is about two hours away from Grand Rapids. How far are you away from there?

xXManwhoreXx 04-28-2013 12:30 AM

We are both in indianapolis suburbs. . So like 2.5-3 hours

Babyblue 04-28-2013 01:11 AM

That's not to bad. But still 3 hour drive is just boaring.

sleepyalero 04-28-2013 01:42 AM

its more then 3 hours. like 4-4.5

Babyblue 04-28-2013 02:56 PM

Damn. You guys are a ways down there. Longest drive I toke myself was 6 hours to buffalo NY.

sleepyalero 04-28-2013 06:40 PM

haha i like long drives

03Sleepr 04-28-2013 06:50 PM

Me too, I love driving...

My longest drive was 36ish hours to Washington state..

03glgold 04-28-2013 07:23 PM

I like driving as long as I don't have somewhere I am trying to get...When I have an end destination in mind I tend to want to get there as fast as I can without getting into trouble, which kills some of the joy of it

sleepyalero 04-28-2013 07:37 PM

never been on a 36 hr drive but i drive just cause i like driving my car, if i get time ill pull the car out and cruise the full I-465 loop

Cliff8928 04-28-2013 11:32 PM
