Alero with 3" Drop
 

Found this car on a facebook forum, the guy used lowering springs from a grand am. It appears to almost be scrapping underneath.

Looks like he used canuck/sprint/dropzone springs with smaller wheels/tires to give him a lower drop...

They do look like 16s.

I want mine that low!

Ask him what was used for this!

He just said grand am lowering springs but I'll find out what brand.

He has canuck springs. Did a 4cyl to 3.4 swap and now has 258hp with a top speed of 149 mph.

Probably has an intake and stickers... easily 258hp!!!
Get some engine pics with a mods list and maybe it will be believable ...

it was a 2.4l to 3.4l swap, he had to get custom motor mounts and had to make rad modifications.

There should be a need of custom mounts.....

This is what he said: We'll the v6 it has 192hp all ready so I install racing computer chip... Racing air filter .. Exhaust line ... So with all that

The chip gives me 8hp
The air filter 10hp
The exhaust 48hp

To m,e these numbers seem over exaggerated.

I thought the same thing. What does an exhaust add it terms of hp? Like 15-20?

yeah depending on car, piping etc. im sure. idk the max a car has gained but I know the alero will NOT gain 48 hp from it.

Power. What kind of 3400 does he have? A beast of one i assume. 192hp? No...Try 145-150ish at the wheels. Exhaust prob gives you 5-10 hp.

here was another comment: if u want horse power...on your alero.....u need this turbo kit.....ill gives u 485 hp...and the hp..right now has 190 hp in alero...put that turbo ull get 675 hp......and the computer chip...10 to 15 hp..690 horse power......total....

No alero has exceeded 500 so far I believe. .. prov havent even reached 500 yet.... thats my goal with my build. But the guy is full of sht.

pretty sure the highest so far on a 3400 is just over 400 hp from a turbo grand am... I just read the comments on that facebook page, wow... most of them have no clue whatsoever!!!! I am going to join it and post a couple pictures and just see what they have to say about my car hahaha... :)
