selling my PCM.... 50 bucks shipped. easily send it to dhp for your core and KEEP YOUR STOCK pcm so when you sell the car, you can sell the DHP to another aleromod member.

Why dont we do a group buy here??????

I have already signed up on the impala site for a PCM. It doesnt make since to start our own group buy when they already have 15+ people ready to go and the worst case scenario even with core charge is 220.

If I am going to have a CAI, 62mm TB, P&P Upper/Lower Manifolds, and TOG Headers by the time I install the DHP PCM will I need to have mine custom tuned or will there standard version 1.0 PCM do the trick.

I thought I had seen posts previously that said a fair amount of engine mods and it should be customed tuned for best results.

Am going to shoot them (DHP) an email as well but we all know it take sthem forever to reply to anything.

To answer your question Alero, yes it is the standard version 1.0 PCM that is sold regualarly by DHP. I sent an email to them earlier and they said they would need you to scan your car first and send them the info if they were to custom tune the PCM. Even then they would not be offering it for the deal that we are getting them for.

People can order off the site using coupon code "#########" and they will have to add the core but the site will calculate shipping. Anyone who wants something other than a 1.0 file will have to phone in 616-245-2161 or email me directly and setup a paypal. That way we can do custom stuff like O2 delete.
Everyone must pay by Aug 5 and PCMs will ship as they are done. We'll need Vin #'s on all the cars, year, make and model and detailed info on where it's supposed to be shipped etc. Once someone's order is processed it will be very hard to make changes. Please make people aware of this.

I don't know if any of you guys talked to them yet, but when I sent them my info. this is what they said:
"The only way we could do your car would be in person and you would have to travel to Detroit for that."
Which will not be a problem for me because it is only 30 miles from my house.
However for you guys in Florida, and North Carolina that is quite a haul for a PCM Tune.
Let me know what you guys find out, hopefully we don't all get screwed out of this deal...

I called zzp and talked to a guy named tim and i explained him the situation and he said "WE DO NOT MAKE PCMS FOR THE ALERO OR THE GRAND AM" So i guess to put it lightly we are basically screwed!!
