Yo guys any ideas for the taillights of an Alero. I don't like the look of the stock ones. Anyone got pictures of things they have done to theirs? Tinting? Vinyl What?

i say blech to messing with our tails. it really is what sets our cars apart..
Buuuut i see you have a white car? If you do anything to them, go with tint, i am sure there is a howto around. Darken them a bit, and with window tint and maybe black bezels on the front.. that would be sweet.

tint is a decent idea. ;)

shave your trunk, and put 05 GTO tailights in. ( slight modification though)

its not bolt on.. he won't do it!

Someone needs slight modification to their skull.

there is a white alero with tinted tails on here...but I forget her name off-hand.

i strongly dislike shaved tails.. icky. If i wanted a neon i would have bought one. but keeping the full tails would look especially nice on the white.. the contrast of the red (or the dark tint) is especially flattering.
just my opinion. And he is a college student, and if he is anything like me he is flat broke so shaving and bodywork isnt an option.
Tinting would provide the classiest looks, and still stand out.

IMO, tinting looks great, I just did mine on a black alero, and it looks awesome. I'm personally not a fan of the shaved look, reminds me of those caddies with huge trunks...looks like poo. I say do what you want, if it looks good go with it. Tinting will look pretty good, good luck with it!

i know not a lot of people here like this, but pinstripes are anothger option for ya! i did them and they look rather good to me. i'm thinking about redoing them in black stripes tho......here's a pic of mine......

turbo alero are you trying to be rude? Not everyone is lucky to have your kind of money. Some of us do pay several thousands of dollars a year for schooling.(Most College Students)

I am not in debt at all, I would rather be "no in debt" and have an alero with a few mods. Then in debt 50 k with tons of mods done to my Alero. Later on in life when your paying off college loans I will be enjoying the money I earn. :)

I have things that come first.
I have a job too, been at the same place for about 3 years...which is good for someone my age.
There are priorities in life, and having a car that impresses middle school girls is not one of them.

theres a good chance that i'll have more debt then the lot of ya, but i'm not modding mine till i'm out. i can't possibly work and do the work load i have.... sry other college guys, it depends on the type of work your doing in school, not the fact that your there...

yes a lot of engineering majors have problems with coordinating jobs with school here.. I am fine for now, i am lucky to have a great flexible job that pays well and gives me good hours.
For now i do cheap little things to my car.. like clear corners, paint int. (soon to begin..) and things that really matter to me like good speakers (Alpine) and my Sony cd changer... maybe subs in the works, i have been shopping around and doing research.. only all this cuz my dad will install if for free for me, of course, so its all that more affordable.
Maybe i will get some big nice things after i sell my horse.. but i have other things to pay off that are PRIORITY. hah.

i think doin anyting to the tails is a bad i deal in general. our tails are very unique as is. all tails taht ive seen look like crap imo.......... all ur really doin is ricin ur car out that much more

im interested in the horse........... how many horsepower is it? manual or auto? are euro tails available for it?

i'm pretty sure she was talking about her "REAL" horse.....so that makes a have 1 horse power, hopefully its a manual....and unless their different in Europe....its probably a standard looking tail!!
