Its going to be the next mod i do. i was going to replace the front seats and back seats with all matching racing seats.
Then i was going to take my car to a local fiberglass place and have then get rid of the stupid cushion that surrounds the stock back fold down seats and replace with a fiberglass outline, to make it look really smooth. and have them make a middle console that goes from the back all the way to the front shifter. Have them paint it the same color as my car. Then have them remake my heavy wood sub box, with fiberglass so that each sub was facing the back of the seats, with a middle slot port facing the middle console. In my head its going to look kick ass, and make our heavy cars just that much lighter. cant wait! Also while they are painting im going to have them paint the headlight bezels, and speedo bezel and the same color. they told me it usually runs 1500-2000 for what i want to have done before puchasing the seats. They decided to sponsor me, so im going to get it done for 700-1000 dolla. Its going to look really unique, But im also lookin for your opinions and if you can think of anything that would also look good please give me your idea.... |
sounds tasty

You gonna have 4 points on all the seats. If so let me know how you are going to mount the front ones so to keep your back seats usable

If your car is a daily.. It wouldn't be comfortable in fiberglass seats for long road trips.
I wouldn't consider that a sponsor.. they just hooked you up in price. I'll post my buddy with all plexiglass seats. his car is a trailor queen, and he said there uncomfortable too after riding in it for 5 min. |
Thats cool.
You'll have to keep us udated. Really interested in the full lenght center piece. Whole idea sounds good!! |
i dont think he is making the seats out of fiberglass... just kinda framing them in with glass... and doing a glass center console between em

when i go to car shows they are making me a banner with their company and everything that is done to my car |
heres pics of my budd's chevy cavy. he hand made the plexiglass seats with a dremel. Took over 80 hours to carve!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() the frame is out of fiberglass, too. He said there unconfortable. He might try to add in shocks on the bottom. Its a trailor queen though. He said he don't live even driving it off the trailor and into the show. LOL These pics are from CES (consumer electronic show) in vegas this year. He was featured in the visonik booth. He is from austin, texas. The whole interior is fiberglassed by him and painted the airbrushing. its on 20's, lowering springs. Took him 2 yrs to build that car from scratch while owing his own audio shop and running it in between. |
thas fuggin hot.
|
insane... absolutely insane... in a good way
|
definately let us know how it turns out, i had toyed with that idea when i was into all show except the console that was going to go all the way to the back was gonna have 3-5 10" subs
|
would you put in 6x9's (or similar size speakers) in by the feet in back (in the center console)? That might be pretty nifty...just an idea.
|
thats the most insane cav i have ever seen. i like that guys work mad props to him.
|
Thats amazing!!
|
holy. dear. mother.
That's incredible - I'm going to be in Austin on Feb. 6th for the In Flames show - any chance I could stop somewhere and have a peek at it? ~vR |
W  W......... ............ ..............W  w
Looks like it is painful to ride in tho. |
i like the rims they seem a little familiar
(i know they arent the exact ones i have :heehee: |
sounds sweet dude
..about the 6x9's...it'd be kinda silly to toss those in if hes running 3 subs or more. i mean the bass would totally drown out the mids so it wouldnt really be beneficial, just a waste of cash |

Also was toying with the idea of putin mtx tweeters two in back and two in from on the left and right or the middle console.... Wat do you think...? |
