This really gets to me. That everyone is so down on the team for losing. Does everyone think that they went over to Turin to lose. They went over there to win. Yes it is disappointing. But do we have to trash our team like they have been doing. They are blaming Gretzky, and anybody else, probably even the waterboy. I'm not a diehard hockey fan, but I do enjoy the game. They showed interviews with Canadians over in Italy whining over there ticket for the gold medal game. What good is the tickets now. You idiots go to the game and enjoy some excellent hockey. Wear a Canadian Jersy be proud of our team. They tried, it wasn't our year. GO TEAM :canada:

I agree. I booked work of tomorrow morning just on the chance that they were playing. Even though they aren't I will probably still be up watching, it should be a great game.

We were all talking about it at the base... actually, the Russia/Canada game was going on while we were on the ranges... so we were getting updates over the radio's... we learned they lost... we lit up smokes (those who smoked), said little, went back to work... in short... poop happens. Exactly, not our year this year.

However, the women did great! No complaints about that. 2010 in Vancouver though should be a good go... I hope.
