This sites pretty cool. Im a couple days from gettin my 99 alero and ive been drooling over the hooked up mods for days. Wondering wat i should first get for my money. Thinking a body kit, and if anyone has any advice, or which kind, for a resonable price. Only 16 with a part time job. Saw few people from concord, and gastonia, i live like an hour from charolette, in Clover, SC; if u havent heard of it, im not suprised lol. My alero is black, and imma get tented windows. But if anyone has any advice for a most for my first mod ill take anything. Thanks.

If your on a budget like me....clearing your corner sidemarkers is popular for starters, in my own opinion before you go body kit hook up the rims and suspension and the body kit will fall right into place. Window tinting accents pretty nice and so does a really, really good detailing. I'm not talking just a wash and a wax, really take your time and pay attention to details. Have fun over all, that's what's important.

Clearing corners - free
Tints - 150 to 200
CAI - 200
Exhaust - 400 to 600
wheels & tires- 1000 or so
DHP PCM - 300 plus core

Then it starts to get expensive, some parts are cheap, but a lot of work to install

OK, clearing your corners involves removing your headlight assemblies and taking them apart. I removed my assemblies and used a hair dryer to heat up the silicone holding them together and after they get hot you can begin to pull them apart. Once you have them apart in 3 pieces you can remove the amber lenses...just look at my avatar. Have fun.

ok, stop the bull poope. I want you to first figure out your goals before you post that question. Figure out, do you want looks or speed? You ain't getting both on a low budget.

OMG, did that thing really say poope?
