Anyone who has done this, what kind of paint did you use? Can you just use high intensity heat paint, or do i have to purchase the actual brake caliper paint?

+ If anyone has any pics of this done on their alero

Thx

Lots have just used high temp paint and been happy with it.

I used VHT brake caliper paint from autozone, like 5 bux for a can. I've had it on for about 5 or 6 months and surprisingly no chips or fade.

I used automotive paint (ie. Touch Up Spray Cans color matched) with no problems. Had it on for about 2 years now. Just prep the surface good and you can use any paint.

I also used the VHT stuff. Turned out really good..had it on for about 10 months, I'll see if I can dig up a pic.

Just about anything will work, unless you race your car and you plan on getting your calipers really hot, then I would use high temp engine paint.
