I think I already know the answer to this (no) but.....
I'd like to move the driver's seat back about an inch. I've always felt a little leg-cramped, even with the seat as far back as it goes. Anyone know if I can mod the seat to move back a little further without relocating the entire mount? |
You could make some plates to move the seat back...if u do it let me know cus i wanna do that too lol :D
|
you guys must be tall. haha
|
I know im a little late on this but heck yea id wanna do this too......im 6'2, it would be nice for my knees not to be hugging the steering wheel lol
|
me too, i'm 6'5
|
yah im 6'2". I like being a bit cramped sometimes tho...
Tats the reason i got an Alero and not a Cavs tho.. for the room. I think there is enough. |
I'm ~6'1" or 6'2" and with the seat all the way back it's a pretty perfect fit :P
The ergonomics arent the greatest though, I never feel quite "on-center" with the wheel and/or the pedals, and no amount of seat movement will fix that. Also, I don't have a manual but I imagine some people on here must get frustrated at the space in between the brake and gas pedal, it must be impossible to heal and toe  |
I'm 6'7 - 6'8, so stop your whining :P
Yeah, i'd like to move my seat back too, but the problem is the wheel starts to get pretty far away. I wish our cars had telescopic steering. And Final, the distance between the gas brake is actually perfect, because I have wide feet so I can catch the brake with one side of my foot and the gas with the other side (I put racing pedals on too so that the gas is a bit wider for this). |
Yea im 6'3, the room is O-k... but more would be good... lol
And yea i agree b-spot the pedals are fine fer me. |
well if ya'll figure this out, lemme know so maybe i can move my seat up closer to the steering wheel and pedals b/c i'm a shorty!! :P ;)
|
haha, just move your seat forward with the standard lever (or power if you have it) there's no way you're too short for that.
