Yea. Colors can be backed with mirror to make a cool effect, and could also be backed with black for a darker shade (like deeper red).
I'm not sure about something like 35% black backed with 35% black to make a darker percent.

Just make sure what you do is legal otherwise cops might be pulling you over.
