With proper molding, do you guys think fender flares would accentuate the Alero body? Kinda give it that widebody look with the right bodykit. And performance wise, you could use wheel adapters to add more inches to your wheelbase for a better ride track.
the fenders are flared out already, but if you want to exaggerate the details, go for it. They won't hurt the flow. Just PLEASE make sure you mold it in the same color.

I think the flares might look pretty good depending on the bodykit you choose to go with. I don't think you'd want to use wheel adapters, but you could go with a wider wheel to get a fatter tire under the wheel well... maybe a 10" rim.

I agree with mav....wider tire......

thats what i've heard also |
Flares look good if done right. If you can find any pics of American Girl's car around in it's current state she has flares on her car and it looks great.
I've heard that about wheel spacers once before, but i didn't know it was that commonly known :(
will spacers work on a wheel where the offset is higher than 42, thus making the wheel stick out to the appropriate/desired length?
They can make a spacer/adapter for any size wheel. They look pretty sturdy
spacers are junk. if you are goin to do a flare use the right wheel. something with a dish to it. put a rwd wheel on it. far safer than a spacer
God, I love dish
![]() Now if i only had 900 bux (per wheel ONLY, no tires) |
And it would be sweet if those wheels would actually fit on our cars...
Dude I want them. It will add like 200 HP to my car.
OK now that non-rice terms: I'd rather put $300 in my motor. |
albino, why wouldn't they? they are 3 piece. you can have any back space you want. and whats the difference if you have spacers or a dished rim. they would be pushed out to the same point. i say do it. we just grafted some mustang flares onto an eclipse. looks sweet. tuckin 19's.
