BlackJack updates.....
ok, just so we can get everyone that's been asking for updates and videos in one shot.....
Right now the car is down (but not out) for some rewiring. Turbo installation made for some tight clearances around natural wiring points and sensors on the transmission. As of now there is no second gear as a result of cooking a sensor and some wires near the exhaust piping. The transmission is holding nicely at 12-15psi as far as mechanicals are concerned. As soon as I complete the rewiring and put in a couple of new sensors, along with some insulation, I'll be ready to roll again. Obviously we're having some odd weather here in AZ, so I'll be waiting for the snow and ice season to be overwith before making a video of some burnouts and whatnot. So hang in there, it's in the works, promise :D I'll post right here in this very thread as I go along, how everything is going. |
so do you have any video's?

Missed ya dude ;) Cant wait to see the vid and find out some numbers. how is the 4T45 handling the abuse?
|
trans is holding ok so far. We'll see soon how much it will take.
|
ya im gonna wait for u to blow yours and then pick out a setup for just under the psi:scpimp:
|
ok, we finally have come to a conclusion for all those that wondered.
The '03 4t45e can take an estimated 10psi at moderate intervals. Since I ran mine at 10psi for quite some time, and then advanced to 12psi for daily use and spiked occasionally to 15psi or so, and it made a mushroom cloud, I think we finally found it's limits. Next in the news, the specific 4t65e-HD that I have selected will arrive in about one or two weeks, and the fabrication and install will commence. I've made my contacts for axle fabrication, and set up for motor mounts to be fabbed. Beyond that, I just need to wire and program. Wish me luck. |
I wanna see :)

this dude is effin awesome
