1999 alero remote start question
 

this is a easy question, but where under the hood is the tach wire for a 1999 alero 4cyl. 2.4 i believe.

they say its white, but i cant find the wire anywhere

In my haynes manual it says the white wire comes from the PCM. Take a look at my thread, http://www.aleromod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16016 My alarm has the option to connect a oil pressure sensor instead of a tach wire, and I just connected the oil sensor to a constant 12v (to fool it to thinking it started up).

I used the purple/white wire at the coil pak. That on a 3.4 not sure if it's the same on 2.4.

use an uncommon color injector wire, a lot easier to find.

If you want to know where that wire is *inside* the car, let me know and i can look it up.
