tax money

so i am getting $2700 back i owe 1300 on car im going to pay it off. Then for the rest i was thinking bout doing my exhaust, dhp pcm, and lowering it with KYB gr2 struts and springtechs. sound good to everyone? that should take the remaining 1400 if not more so let me know what you think.

whiteliquid 03-04-2007 05:02 PM

pay it off and then kit it

sorrowfulkiller 03-04-2007 05:09 PM

eff the kit first.... go performance first. If you want to go performance do it first and foremost. For instance... I'm waiting til next year to get my kit... this year I'm planning on putting in my turbo, suspension mods, brakes and exhaust.

If you look like you're fast and can't back it up with performance, shame on you.

whiteliquid 03-04-2007 05:12 PM

Since aleros are soo fast. And capable of dominating other beefed up cars right.

Save your money on performance and make it look badass.

[ion] C2 03-04-2007 05:50 PM

just because a car looks good doesn't mean it has to be < 8 seconds in the 1/4. but yeah go performance first it's what you want

SittinOnChrome 03-04-2007 06:02 PM

I know my car is slow.. I would rather spend money on making it look better

Redog 03-04-2007 06:39 PM

No tax return money this year is going to either car, all wedding.

After the wedding, Olds 350 for the Delta

shackney 03-04-2007 06:42 PM

whiteliquid 03-04-2007 09:12 PM

Gr1m 03-04-2007 09:19 PM

that sounds like a good start man

whiteliquid 03-04-2007 09:35 PM

DOh! my bad.

So yea go for the dual FLow 40s If you want a deeper lower muscle tone.

IF you want a "high powered rice sound" (lol thats what BJ said mine sounds like) Go with 2.25 pipe, no cat, a glasspack, and a turbo muffler. Mine sounds good. I have to get a clip.

shackney 03-04-2007 09:36 PM

thats what i was thinking bout doing gettin a late start with 107500 miles lol

shackney 03-05-2007 05:12 PM

thats what i'd do.

HazMatt24 03-05-2007 05:38 PM

I used mine on an HDTV and I love it. I got a good deal, 52" Mitsubishi with the stand and 5 year extended warranty out the door for $1270, oh and that included an HD antenna

alerocar01 03-05-2007 05:44 PM

i say pay it off and the rest on HDTV

diablo 03-05-2007 06:28 PM

go performance, im turning my alero into a sleeper, going all motor :p

alerored04 03-05-2007 06:58 PM

/\ ask jackal how fun that is to do. It depends on how dedicated you are to the car. I plan on spending my return on my car, but i have no need for a nice tv, i am in college and it would get destroyed. Keep in mind the tv will last you longer than the car probably will. I would do the car stuff but thats just me.

Vinalero 03-05-2007 07:05 PM

Id go with your idea of lowering it + the HDTV, but only if its worth it and that you will use the TV frequently. How many ppl do I know that have monster TVs, but only watch one half hour show each week.
