Rattling up front somewhere
 

In the past couple days I've noticed that there's a rattling or grinding sound somewhere in the front of the car and by my perspective it seems like it's from the front wheel well or in that general area... any ideas? maybe a bearing starting to go?

An easy thing to check would be your break pads. One of mine starting sounding really bad when it was almost totally worn through.

well I think I may have found the problem... one of the heat covers for the exhaust is pretty damn loose... so that could be making the noise...

I mostly get the noise when I'm either starting or turning off the car...

Well I guess that's probably not the brakes then. :p I hope you can get that fixed.

Hope it's not the nasty 3400 piston slap... dunno the fix for that since I got a 2.2L. Just know at least one person with 1k to spare is unhappy about it.
