Ok, so if life isn't fun enough.

I bought a Sirius FM Direct Adapter. I pulled out my radio expecting an connection. Nope. GM has to use a different radio plug. SO, off to Circuit City to find an adapter. Found one. Another $20 on top of the $40 I spent for the DC. Go back home and plug it in. Our radio SEEMS to have a standard plug for antennas on the back. But when I plugged the DC into it, it doesn't work.

I come to the board to find some more information and I learn that there's another plug in the passenger kick panel. Oh, there's goes my hopes up. MAYBE I'll get this hooked up without anymore money spent. But nope. The the rocks my hope gets smashed. The plugs are gender reversed from what I need them to be.

This is aggravating. Why can't anything on our cars be simple?

Because Aleros were to be sold for less money than other comparable cars in the hopes GM could make their money back in ass backwards labour intensive repairs.

exactly....hell, my passanger side sun visor doesnt even have a mirror. ONE freakin dome light with not lights on the mirror....for god sakes, my 1990 Olds Toronado had more technology and luxury than I ever want in a car, even had a touch screeen visual information center in the dash....newer cars are built CHEAP
