Warning light problems
 

The warning lights on my 99 GLS are acting up. When I have the e brake engaged when I start up it does not go off when I disengage it. When it is disengaged at startup the light does not go on when engaged. Also the "security" light came on a few times. My brother, a mechanic, ran his scan tool but nothing showed up. Does anybody have any advice?

security light generally means your ignition is starting to go.
