I am thinking about getting a sunroof/moonroof for my 2000 Alero, but am curious what people who have them think about them. Any thoughts if people like them, or if it is going to be worth the money to have it installed...all feedback is welcome...and greatly appreciated

Thanks

Make sure you go to a good place to get it done. I had an aftermarket sunroof done awhile back and after a year it started to leak by that time it was out of warranty. I had the sunroof tinted red to match my car and it also had an extra layer of regular tint. Living in Texas it still made the inside of my car extremely hot. Others on here have had good luck with them. Just do your research when you go to get one.

Usually aftermarket Sunroof's/Moonroof's aren not a really good idea. Like Blue stated they do tend to leak. You should probably go back to the dealer and have them install one in.

Not necessarily. mine is aftermarket and it looks better than factory and no leaks. It just depends on how good the shop is who installs it.

How do you find out the ratings of the shop to install it??? I would talk to people to see what they have to say but noone around here is into cars. Thanks
