how do i take out my dash? and am i going to be ripping my hair out trying to do it?

and yes |
what tools will i need...besides a case of beer
Probably more than one case and some sockets.
7mm socket and a rachet. something to cut the plastic behind the fuse panel cover to get around the fuse box wires. torx bits(not sure on size anymore) for the back of the steering wheel. steering wheel puller. and many cases of beer
lol i think we've established he needs beer and lots of it, i think hes looking for more on the location of the bolts and stuff and what needs to come off first b/c the whole dash goes out :p

good thing is, once he gets a few cases a beer going, he wont remeber that time the airbag went off in his face |
Okay, the dash is 2 large pieces... need to be more specific... do you want to take the cover off that has the leather vinyl stuff on it - which will give you access to everything underneath, or do you want to take your dash complete (sub frame, wiring, etc...). If its the second, I'm going to tip my hat and leave (it's a bitch), if it's the first, then I'll give you instructions on how to do it...
Heh, Rob, I've done it so many times now, I can have the dash off in less than 10 minutes... sad, sad life I live... |
