Drilled and Slotted Break rotters

I just installed my drilled and slotted break rottors. everything was fine after driving for about 10 miles. now there is a loud squiking sound while driving with foot on gas and foot on brake. Ive checked everything nothing seems to be rubbing and everything tightened down good. If you have had this problem before let me know what you did too fix it cuz I am lost:thumbsdown:

did u install the pad w/ the wear indicator (the metal tab) on the inside of the rotor? and did u use any anti-squeal stuff? (can be found at autozone or any auto place)

I did install them right but I didnt use anti-squeal stuff cuz I never heard of it but I will check it out

actually ceramic pads may be to soft/hard for the rotors, i have crossdrilled rotors and the first set of pads were carbon metallic and the second set i have now are kevlar and are the best i have ever run.

They are my old brakes he bought from me. They were in good condition w/ the pads. (I'd upgraded to the SSBC big brake kit). They made no noise or anything when i took them off.

Did you relube the caliper guide pins? (so the caliper moves back and forth easier? (autozone sells a syntheic caliper pin grease)

it might be the metal clips on the caliper (in the middle to guide the pads) rubbing the rotor. I've had that before.
