Paint Touch-Up

Well, today has been going well until about an hour ago when i came home from a friend's house. our garage is pretty tight to get into and i was pulling in and needed to square it off a little more but the engine reved up a bit (it does that sometimes when at an idle) and i wasn't pressing the brake that hard and *bam* i hit the garage. so, other than cracking a brick on our garage, i also put a nice half-foot scrape right under my driver side headlight. i think some of it will buff out but there's a few deep gashes that went through the paint into the plastic. i really don't know how expensive it should be to repaint the front bumper and all or if i could just touch it up with a little thing of paint from auto zone without it looking really crappy. any ideas on what i should do? i found this webpage and it explains what i could do but i'm not sure if it'll look ok or not...
