help... i got picture but no sound...
 

just curious if anyone can help me figure out how to wire up my system...

i have a clarion deck, clarion 7" screen and a farenheight dvd player. I hooked it all up, but i have no sound through my speakers... I have everything working, the picture works, the dvd plays, and when i use my deck, it sounds great...

can anyone please help me? im somewhat of a rookie, i have installed about 8 systems, but i have never done video before, so that is where my problems are coming from...

you sure you got the red and white wires running from the dvd player to the back of the deck?

Also make sure that you have it in the inputs and not the outputs, not saying you don't it would just help to check. Side note: If your dvd player has mutiple in outputs go into the menu and make sure that the proper output is selected. I ran into that with mine, and I didn't have the proper AVinput selected. Just a few things you can try. Hopes this helps a little.

i had the exact same problem and i coulnt figur it out and got visons to install mine for 35 bucks :(

thanks everyone... i have saturday off and will probably try and play with it then... i am borrowing a friends camera soon to get some pics up a.s.a.p. its killing me not having any of my car...
