I have a 99 Alero GLS 2 dr, 3400, stock with a drop-in K&N air filter and drilled/slotted Baer front rotors.

Maybe we need an AA for people who got suckered into buying an Alero and are now stuck with it. :p I have a love/hate relationship with my car. It looks great and runs great, it gets bad mpg and likes to break down. Having already been forced to rebuild the engine on this car at 67,000 miles, I now think it's better to stick it out and keep it running. My idea is to turn bad news into an opportunity by putting in performance mods/parts whenever something needs replaced. Other than that, I don't really have the budget or need for mods. But this forum has been great for repair--I have been lurking and getting lots of useful info ever since I had the LIM gasket issue a year ago.

Now I have questions I can't find answered in the archives, so I signed up and will be asking them soon.
