Horn Button, will this work?

Instead of having the horn switch coming off the front of the steering wheel (the regular/normal location), would it be possible to connect it through a momentary switch that is more of a press-button, mounted somewhere else?

The idea being to bypass turn/wiper/headlamp module, and the horn slip ring.

here is another issue i also have.
my horn slip ring got fubar'd a few years ago.
it would set off my horn when i would make a left turn.

the only thing i could think of is to remove the horn relay.

i have been wanting to put a push button somewhere for my horn, i miss it.

It would simply be relayed through the steering wheel slip ring, just, due to the removal of the airbag and the horn system, and I'd rather have a quick access with a thumb button anyway. But, yeah, if that wouldn't work I'd be simply bypassing the other two components as mentioned.
