99' alero vent knobs
 

i just found some of the blue knobs for the A/C controls. i remember seeing a thread that shows how to take the rubber part off of them. does anyone have a link to that thread? i've looked everywhere and cant find it. thanks.

its easy take knob off and from the wider part putt the rubber off

like peeling off a condom :) and the knobs just pull out

i tried to pull them off and no luck. i'll try again. someone told me to toss them in the oven. will that work? i just dont want them to melt.

If I recall correctly it will only work on the 99' models

uhm tossing in oven? i recommend not doing that. lmao the rubber pulls right off. i know, i have a 99 ;)

start at the bottom of the knobs, and start peeling them up. they will come off rather easilly, and if you do it carefully, you can slip them back on...

I used to have one as well and to take them out for the first time I had to pull pretty hard and the rubber was a pain in the butt to get off but it worked..just be carefull when you put them back on, mine didn't want to back on and I pushed to hard and effed up the control for the vents (the one that you select where the air comes out.)

Deff don't put them in an oven though
