Rims/Lowering Question

I've been looking around at some rims and been wanting to get 20's but don't think it would look right (to me). So what I'm gunna do is buy 18's and possibly lower my car about an inch to inch 1/2. But my question is for those who have that similar setup. With the car lowered and rims (Stock as well)...do you drag anything on the bottom or when you hit bumps? Or is there anything I need to look out for.

20's will fit. Personally I don't think it looks all that great on an Alero.

I'm not to sure if they will rub when turning. Good question.

I have 20's with no problems just have to get a very small tire or it will rub the bottom of the strut in the back. I do wish I had went smaller because there aren't to many people around here that have the equipment to align our cars with any thing over 18.

ya they rape you on the price for an alignment with air suspension aswell even though its not harder then stock suspension, they hear air suspension and charge you like another $100 right off the bat.
i would stick with 18s if you dont plan on slamming your car, my 18s will be for sale in the summer when i upgrade to 20s
