I also bought the Indiglo Gauges in the last group buy, but the black box makes a buzzing sound...that is pretty annoying. I was wondering if anyone else had this happen...I just switched my alpine deck to a JVC and so far i dont think it makes the buzzing sound through the JVC but not sure, but on the alpine it was annoying. Another question i have is where to people hid the black box...in the cubby under the deck? I have heard too that if you change the way the connections are made it deceases the buzzing, but I just want some feedback to see what you people think about it...

Thanks

how loud is this buzzing? I have a minor buzz myself, but it's easily drowned out by road noise (ie: tires on the ground, wind noise, etc) If it's any louder than that, you should recheck your wiring. (most electronics have a mild buzz to them...which is why it seems so eerily quiet if the power unexpectedly goes out in your house during the daytime, even if no tv/radio is on.)

yeah, it will buzz a little but if it is really loud, you may have a loose ground either in the gauges or in the radio wiring. If the buzz gets louder when you accelerate, that is in the stereo system.

nah the buzzing noise aint bad or anything, unless its extremely loud. the black box changes dc voltage to ac voltage or vice versa, something like that. Its just a noise your going to hafta get use to, if you have the adjustable set, does it increase as you brighten them, if it does everythings fine, just normal.
