the first blue color match clears!!!
 





cleared and color matched my head lights 2 day. the color is darker then the pics show .

now what bulbs should to get ?

As long as that is the color of your car they look good.

i bought led's for my corners they are completely clear and light up amber and the silverstar chromes.. from the zone.lol

You have a midnight blue alero too eh? Looks good, I wanna do that to my headlights... where did you get the paint and how much was it???

i went to michaels craft store and got a paint marker made by elmer's is called navy blue i put three coats on to darken it up and bake it at 200' between each coat the marker was 3.99 i only used one.

Did you use a scuff pad or lightly sand before painting?

no i was going to then i tested the paint on the bottom and hit it with a heat gun and it stuck really well. i didn't want to have sand marks in the paint. if it comes off i will re do it

i was thinking of doing all led lights 194 and 3157 any thoughts ?

ye im happy. what a pain in the a## it took me 6 hrs. 15 min to clear corners and 2 hr and 45 min to paint ( dry time between each coat in oven) . and taken care of a 3 and 5 year old while doing it :cry: that was the chalange not to for get they were in the oven :haha:

don't for get to clean the lens!!! i noticed to day the driver side light is all streaky on the in side :cry: . now i have to take it apart again to clean it. oh by the way rubbing alcohol takes the gm glue off if you get it on the lens like i did
