Fuel Pressure Test on 2.4L
 

Does anyone know where the fuel pressure test port is on the 2.4L engine? My mom's car won't start, it cranks and has spark and I can hear the fuel pump run. I tried the 10 minute security light thing too.

Thanks, I guess I'll just change the fuel filter tomorrow and hope for the best.. Shes sending it to a shop if I can't fix it, but I want my car back by monday to go to school...

I changed the fuel filter, it was dirty, but the car still won't start. I hooked an oscilloscope to one of the fuel injector connections, and it is getting a signal to inject. What else could it be? I have spark and it should have fuel unless its not making it from the filter to the injector...

Try your spare key, just in case the one you're using is worn down.

fuel pressure should be between 48-50
